There is a phrase I have found myself saying over the years that seems to resonate with people. We do not just live between two countries. We live between two wardrobes.

I moved to Canada about eight years ago and somewhere along the way, this became home. I built a career here, bought a home here and made incredible friends here. But every year I would go back to India. Like many people who have built a life away from where they grew up, I would return with a suitcase full of clothes. Fashion in India was constantly evolving. New designers, new silhouettes and new ways of interpreting the textiles and patterns I had grown up seeing. I would come back excited to wear them, only to find myself reaching for a blazer on Monday, jeans on Tuesday and a shirt on Wednesday. Before I knew it, those beautiful pieces were waiting for weddings, festivals and the occasional celebration. I remember thinking, why can't the textiles and patterns I grew up seeing exist in the life I am actually living today?

That question stayed with me for a long time. Not because I wanted to build a sustainable fashion brand. That conversation matters, but it was never what drove me. I have always believed craft is far broader than the labels we often reduce it to.

Noble Misfit began with a simple idea: to create clothing that brings heritage into everyday life. Pieces that feel just as natural at work, over coffee with friends or walking through the city as they do on special occasions. My hope is that when you wear Noble Misfit, you never feel like you have to choose between where you come from and the life you have built. You simply get to be all of who you are.
